The University of Wisconsin Construction Club "Banquet in cooperation with the Engineering/Construction Industry" is fast approaching! The date is Friday April 19, 2013 and the event is now being held at The NEW WISCONSIN UNION SOUTH! We on the Banquet Committee want to extend to you an invitation to "the Academy Awards of Construction" for our growing Construction Engineering and Management Program. See the bottom of this page for a list of companies coming to this year's banquet.

Why should my company attend?
One of the goals in hosting this event is to recognize the outstanding accomplishments and contributions that professionals have made to industry and to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At the same time, we want to promote interaction between our students and leading industry members along with faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. By promoting our students and our program, we hope to foster relationships that could lead to a closer partnership between the industry and the university.

So how do I attend?
First, You have to register! We have two registration forms, for companies and students. Below are links to these electronic registration forms. We also included a printable form for those who wish to register by mail.

  • The UW - Madison Construction Club Banquet was created as a way to honor those distinguished few who have left their mark on the construction and engineering fields. The honorees are chosen by UW - Madison professors and students, as well as, individuals within the industry. The banquet not only recognizes select individuals, but also gives students and industry the opportunity to meet and exchange conversation, experience, and knowledge.

  • The Construction Club Banquet is the best way for employers to see what UW - Madison, UW - Stout, and UW - Platteville have to offer to the industry. The students attending are juniors and seniors looking for that perfect intern, co-op, or permanent position. Industry representatives also receive a RESUME BOOKLET of attending students.
  • As a student, why should I attend the Construction Club Banquet?
  • The banquet is the perfect opportunity for students to mingle with industry in a more casual atmosphere than a career fair or interview. Students must also submit their resume for the RESUME BOOKLET that is given to each one of the companies attending the banquet. Furthermore, the post-banquet party afterwards is a great way to mingle with other students in your area of interest, complain about classes and relax for an evening.
