What is the Construction Club?
In 1997, the Construction Club was established to serve the needs of students in the Construction Engineering and Management program. The primary goal of the Construction Club is to foster contacts between UW-Madison engineering students and the design and construction industry. The Construction Club is an umbrella organization for student chapters of AGC (Associated General Contractors), NECA (The National Electrical Contractors Association), MCAA (The Mechanical Contractors Association of America), ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) and CSI (The Construction Specifications Institute).
Why join the Construction Club?
Joining Construction Club is Easy! Come to one of our meetings and find out more! Membership is free. You will be able to attend all club meetings where food is provided for members, site tours and the Spring Construction Club Banquet. The club is a great way to learn more about the Construction Industry and meet many of today’s industry leaders through presentations, site tours, and outreach events.
Have something else you would like Construction Club to do? We are always looking for new things to get involved in, we’d love to hear your ideas!
